Gallery Folders

Gallery Law

Featured- our contributors will be selecting their favorite work for our Featured Folder
Artist's Choice- you can submit one work per month, your submission will automatically be accepted.
All Other Folders- are fairly self explanatory, submissions into these folders are subject to vote.

If your submission has been declined, and you truly feel it is a work of superior quality let us know the intent of the work and why it deserves to be included in the gallery. (as the group grows I may not be able to guarantee this any more). If your work is worth defending to you its worth another consideration from us...

Hi just found out my Red Spider is a Red Spider Mite. You might want to delete it. I have changed it's name.

Helloooooo, fellow spider lovers! I'm posting this question in various places, hoping someone will have an answer.

So... how do you tell tarantulas apart? I mean, if you have two tarantulas, exact same species, same gender, and you put them next to each other… how would you tell them apart? I ask because I'm trying to design some tarantula characters for my drawings, but I want to keep them realistic and not add fancy markings that don't match their species. While I might, in the end, have to, I want to avoid doing it if at all possible.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry about the late response but it would depend on the species you've chosen to illustrate. Rose Hair come in  three simple color morphs. Other have there own different characteristics between individuals such as leg length and width, abdomen length and girth or variations in color or patterns.

Hi there

I was wondering if anyone could help identify a Spider for me. I would have added the picture to my deviant and post in the the section for this, but the images aren't very good quality :(

Anyway, [link] [link]
Oh and I live in England.

Thanks.
